About the Journal
TAJDID: Jurnal Ilmu Ushuluddin (Sinta 3, p-ISSN: 2502-3063, e-ISSN: 2541-5018) is published by Fakultas Ushuluddin dan Studi Agama UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi twice a year (June and December) since 2014. From the establishment, Tajdid Journal has published a periodical publishing scholarly and authoritative articles on the sciences of the ushuluddin (principles of religion) of current importance to both academic research and principles of religion.
This journal aims to provide a means for sustained discussion of relevant issues that fall within the focus and scopes of the journal, which can be examined empirically, such as Islamic Philosophy, Tasawuf, Qur’anic and Hadith Studies, Comparative Religion, Islamic Thoughts, Political Islam and Theology.
Principally, the journal's editorial policy is to favour contributions which will be of interest to a wide cross-section of its readership - contributions which, if specialized, nevertheless serve to bring out matters of broader interest or importance within their specialization. However, articles which are not included in the area of principles of religion are not covered and out of the scope of this journal.
TAJDID: Jurnal Ilmu Ushuluddin has been accredited by the Ministry of Research and Technology /National Agency for Research and Innovation since 2019. It is a member of Crossref.org, so each article has its unique DOI number.

TAJDID: Jurnal Ilmu Ushuluddin is an academic journal focusing on the sciences of the ushuluddin (principles of religion), published twice a year (June and December) by the Faculty of Ushuluddin and religious studies, UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi. It is a shared space to disseminate and publish the scholarly papers of those whose concern is the sciences of ushuluddin, such as, Islamic Philosophy, Tasawuf, Qur’anic and Hadith Studies, Comparative Religion, Islamic Thoughts, Political Islam and Theology.
